Everyone who has got a significant other understands that getting into a relationship is the easy part. But keeping alive the spark of your relationship and keep finding new ways to express your love and caring feelings towards each other, finding ways to show you appreciate your lover, every week and every day can be very challenging. However, it is entirely possible.

Today I have decided to share some fantastic simple ways to be romantic which will pay off for your relationship in innumerable ways. I tried listing down most of the things on this shared list which is little and inexpensive. Why? You could always rent an expensive limo service and take your lover to the exotic, classy type restaurant while ordering expensive reserved wine, or could rent a whole stadium or movie theater. I don’t know about you, but I personally cannot afford that. I believe that majority of lovers will much appreciate the small things you do for them on a daily basis.

Write your way into love

  • Write a poem
  • Leave little love notes every day at the house
  • Send a short cute little email every day
  • Write little notes, one for each way he or she drives you crazy.
  • Send a text message saying short I love you out of nowhere
  • Write a love letter
  • Make a list of everything you love about him or her.
  • Clip or email things that make you think of him or her, every day.

  • Write “I love you” in the steam on the bathroom mirror after he takes a shower.
  • Mail a card and inside write down the top 10 things you love about your partner. Leave a love note in her car telling her to have a great day.
  • Make an early Valentine. Cut out some paper in the shape of a heart. Write something sweet on it in red and put it in her purse or his briefcase.
  • If your partner is going on a business trip, secretly hide a love note inside his/her luggage.

  • Have dinner on the roof, with some candles. This doesn’t work if your roof slopes sharply.
  • Bring Fruit or berries and freshly made whipped cream.
  • Bring home great take-out, and light some candles.

Do things for your partner

  • Give a full-body massage to your partner.
  • Give her a facial massage.
  • Play with her hairs while cuddling
  • Give her a romantic basket with her favorite brand products and chocolate. 
  • Massage her shoulders whenever you get a chance.
  • Pick wildflowers on the way home.
  • Give her a key with a note that says, “You have the key to my heart” or, “You’re the key to my happiness.”
  • Try to pay him/her at least one compliment a day
  • Wash her car. Then wax it. And vacuum the inside
  • Turn her birthday into a birthday month.
  • Make a CD with a few songs that are meaningful to your relationship.
  • Fix something or fix up the house just to make your partner happy.
  • Groom yourself, and try to look good for your partner.
  • Take some quiet time and talk about your day.
  • Recreate your partner’s favorite romantic movie scene.
  • Pretend you’re going on a first date — show up at the door with flowers, all dressed up, with your car washed and cleaned, looking spiffy. Recreate the first time.

  • Create a jar filled with “Love Coupons.” Make the coupons redeemable for hugs, kisses, back rubs or any number of special favors. Give the box to your lover and let him/her redeem the coupons over time.
  • Make a scrapbook with photos, mementos, and little notes from your lives together.
  • Kiss in the rain.
  • Ride a Ferris wheel.
  • Sneak away from a party and make out.
  • Slow dance to romantic music.
  • Take a random short nap together.
  • Kiss slowly, touching his or her back and neck and nape — slowly.
  • Go to a movie, ignore the movie, and make out like teenagers.
  • Try some sexy role-playing. Get dressed up, be daring, have fun.
  • Plan a tree together and explain to them that its symbol of your love and you will take care of it.
  • Before going to a party together, or going to social event come up with some secret code words you can use during a conversation. You can be telling each other “I can’t wait to get you alone tonight!” without anyone knowing!
  • Find a hotel that has a Jacuzzi and books it for a night of fun.
  • Buy some underwear with messages on it or lingerie together.
  • Have a babysitting date night.
  • Renew your wedding vows.
  • Go to roller skating parks where you can hold hands together.

I am pretty sure you must have already got a few good ideas to form the list by now. If things aren’t looking good between you and your partner at the moment, I hope this might be just the thing to melt the ice between you both slowly.
