The Sixth Sense (1999)

Haley’s character, Cole Sear, is tormented by ghosts with unresolved situations. Only eight years old, Cole is too young to understand why he has his abilities, and doesn’t tell anyone about his secret until he meets child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis).

The Shining (1980)

In this ultra-scary film, writer Jack Torrance takes on a job as a caretaker for an isolated Colorado hotel, in the hopes of overcoming his writer’s block. But his son, who has psychic abilities, is able to see the dark spirits that haunt the hotel. After a snowstorm traps the family in the hotel, Jack becomes more and more influenced by the ghosts and ultimately falls deep into madness.
